HI, WE’RE T/OD

Which is of course short for Tangent On Demand. We’ve been around in one shape or another producing high quality print for around 30 years.

Originally we were called ‘London Black and White’. In 1998 with the addition of our very first colour digital printer ‘London Black and White’ became ‘London Digital’ (well we couldn’t be called ‘London Black and White’ with a colour printer now could we?).

In 2002 with the exciting purchase of our first ever HP Indigo we changed our name once again from ‘London Digital’ to ‘Tangent’ and finally, with a location move to Great Portland Street in London’s West End in 2008, we added ‘on demand’ to ‘Tangent’ and became ‘Tangent on Demand’. Our name may have changed more times than a traffic light on Oxford Street but our passion for print hasn’t.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

When deadlines look unacheivable and meeting budgets is looking like a serious mission, we work towards finding solutions; it’s this mindset coupled with a generous helping of personality that makes our clients love us. Nothing’s impossible.

We like to think of ourselves as a print-partner (howdy) for our clients rather than just a supplier of print. We want to add value where possible and we’re committed to going the extra mile; whether that means working round the clock, hand-delivering work or getting up at 5am to personally oversee installations. We’re right by your side every step of the way*.

*not in a stalker way and by no means do we boil bunnies.

There’s an old saying ‘There’s no ‘I’ in TEAM’ and that’s what sums us up. To work at T/OD you have to be intelligent (some argue this fact more than others) bright, pro-active, solution driven, professional and courteous. But, above all that you have to have plenty of personality, a big smile and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

GREEN POLICY

At T/OD we do everything we can to make sure we’re doing our bit for the planet. We only ever print on recycled or FSC accredited paper stocks and we are constantly monitoring, and where possible, reducing the impact of our activities on the environment. We’ve got more recycling bins than you can shake a tree at.
